In Japan, Rei means "God's Wisdom" or "Higher Power" and Ki means "life force energy", and so Reiki is actually "Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy". The energy is offered through the practitioner's hands, often hovering a few inches above the body without the need for contact, and drawn by the client through their inner wisdom. It is effective in helping to relieve many conditions both physical and psychological. This is a beautifully subtle experience that holistically balances the body, emotions, mind and spirit. You will leave feeling relaxed and calm, with a sense of peace, security and well-being.
